1. Who We Are

VXLVERSE is a browser-based 3D game creation platform operated from the European Union. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean the VXLVERSE team. When we say "you", we mean you, the user.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the platform:

Account data (via Google OAuth)

Your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not store your Google password.

Game data

Game configurations, level data, scripts, and assets you upload. This is the content you create on the platform.

Usage data

Basic analytics such as page views and feature usage. We do not use third-party tracking scripts or advertising pixels.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and maintain your account and games
To display your published games on the Explore page and featured sections
To send important service updates (account, security, terms changes)
To improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your personal information with advertisers. We do not build advertising profiles.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on Hetzner servers located in Germany (EU), managed through PocketBase. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with standard security measures. By using VXLVERSE, you consent to your data being processed in the European Union.

5. Cookies

We use cookies strictly for authentication — to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is needed because we only use essential cookies, but we want to be transparent about it.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
Portability — export your game data at any time through the editor
Objection — object to processing of your data for specific purposes
Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile information and all your published games from our servers. This action is irreversible.

8. Children's Privacy

VXLVERSE is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top and notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of VXLVERSE after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
